Accomodations.
Luxurious details. Contemporary and antique unite. The
house has three distinctive bedrooms and full baths,
a king master suite and two double suites, a single
sofabed in the upstairs den, and a large fold-out queen
in the main living room.
First,
a tapestry-inspired master suite with antique
Mexican mesquite doors opening onto the screen porch
with fireplace. A leather chaise makes a nice place
to rest with a book or after a bath. Adjoining master
bath has a river-rock shower and Jacuzzi-spa. The water
is pumped up six hundred feet from under the hillside
and is rich in minerals; pure herb tinctures are offered
to add to your bath to create the ultimate relaxation
or invigoration experience. A back door and porch lead
to a candle-lit outdoor shower with privacy surround
made of cedar staves. A moonlight experience –
or a cooling relief from a hot summer day.
Second,
a corner bedroom with Indian silks and velvets
and Asian antiques make this a hideaway for relaxation.
This room’s bath is dark red with Fredericksburg-Red
granite countertop, modern chrome fixtures and Italian
lighting, Chinese and Indonesian antiques.
Third, an upstairs bedroom
with a romantic canopy bed
and flowing white curtain surrounds. This bedroom has
windows on opposite sides and you can open them for
a cross-breeze and moonlit sleep. Its bath has tile,
rosewood granite, modern brushed nickel fixtures and
oversized glass-enclosed shower.
